The Bulgarian Foreign Ministry is ready to begin work on issuing visas to Russian tourists as soon as the Minister of Health issues a relevant order, Foreign Minister Yekaterina Zakharieva said on her Facebook page.
The document should be adopted today, April 28.
The head of the Bulgarian Foreign Ministry also noted that she had already instructed the consular services to prepare for the issuance of visas, the procedure is as simple as possible: “Applications for a Bulgarian visa can be submitted in 59 cities and 3 consulates in Russia. Local tour operators accredited with consular services can electronically submit visa applications for their clients. Those wishing to visit the Republic of Bulgaria for tourist purposes receive a visa at the office of their tour operator or external contractor without any formalities, ”Zakharieva said in a statement.
We will remind, the Ministry of Health of Bulgaria decided to open the border for tourists from May 1. Travelers “must have any of three types of medical documents with them – a certificate confirming vaccination against coronavirus; negative PCR or some type of antigen test; a certificate of a disease transferred in the last 6 months, which is confirmed by a positive PCR test, ”said Acting Head of the Ministry of Health Kostadin Angelov…
The Russian headquarters for combating the importation and spread of coronavirus has not yet made any statements about the possibility of resuming flights with Bulgaria and, unfortunately, there is no republic in the list of countries to which Russia can resume flights after May 11.
Only important. For the pros only.
