The European Commission has issued recommendations for EU members to gradually remove restrictions as soon as the epidemiological situation allows. This was reported on the website of the organ on March 19. A week later, on March 25, a meeting of leaders of European governments on this topic will take place.
According to the recommendations, firstly, all countries should issue digital “green certificates” to all vaccinated who have had coronavirus, and those whose test was negative. Second, the European Center for Disease Control will establish a course of action in the event of the third and subsequent waves of a pandemic. In addition, new strategies will be developed for testing, treating, collecting and sharing information about infected people between countries. The EU countries will also launch a unified safety standard for tourism organizations.
Commenting on this document, Vice-President of the Subcommittee on the Promotion of European Living Standards Margaritis Schinas clarified that countries should take into account the lessons of the past year and remove restrictions gradually, so that they do not have to be reintroduced soon. So, in 16 departments of France, including Paris, from Friday evening, a full lockdown is once again introduced,
Recall that on March 17, the EU presented a draft green passports, their introduction is planned in mid-June. In Europe, they do not exclude that after the approval of the Russian vaccine by the European Medicines Agency, its production will begin in the EU countries.
Only important. For the pros only.
