Coronavirus restrictions in Russia can be mitigated by the holidays or by the summer, says the head of Rospotrebnadzor Anna Popova, about which she spoke in interview on the TV channel “Russia 24”.

“Certain restrictions are undoubtedly being lifted all the time. And we all see this. And restaurants work more time, and some events begin in the open air, subject to all the rules. Yes, of course, this is all planned, it will all be, if, of course, we all together do not violate the rules that already exist today, ”she said.

However, despite the fact that the epidemiological situation in Russia is stabilizing and the number of Covid-19 cases is decreasing, there is no talk of canceling the mask regime yet. According to the head of the department, the danger of infection is still quite high, so lifting the restrictions would be premature: “So far, today all the requirements for protecting your health – for wearing masks, for unconditional hand washing, keeping them clean, using disinfectants for treating hands, various surfaces, for the treatment of their premises, work or home, it still remains. “

Popova also once again advised Russians not to travel abroad for the May holidays, but to spend them inside the country. According to her, cases of detection of the British strain of Covid-19 in Russia are most often associated with the trips of our fellow citizens to the UAE or Europe. In addition, the head of Rospotrebnadzor said that within Russia at the moment, the transmission of the disease most often occurs in the family, and not, as before, at public events.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin promised not to restrain citizens who want to relax abroad, inside the country, but advised them to take into account the “difficult situation with the pandemic” in popular holiday destinations in Europe.

I must say that Russians do not have so many opportunities to go on vacation outside their country, the borders are opening very slowly. The rhetoric of the Russian authorities does not inspire optimism in this regard. However, there are chances for the appearance this summer of “green corridors” with individual countries – Russians are expected in Croatia, Greece will open in May, but everything will depend on the decision of the headquarters to resume flights.

Only important. For the pros only.
