The cashback program for children’s camps will be launched by the end of May, said Deputy Head of Rostourism Grigory Prokuronov. Parents will be able to receive a refund in the amount of 50% of the cost of the product purchased for non-cash payments using the Mir card.
“We are preparing to launch a program that includes the return of part of the cost of vouchers paid by parents during 2021. The inclusion of stationary camps throughout the country will be launched into the program and will have a cumulative additional effect, as it will contribute to strengthening children’s health, outdoor recreation, recovery and rehabilitation, ”said Prokuronov, speaking at a round table in the Federation Council.
Previously Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko reported that 5 billion rubles will be allocated to reimburse the trips to children’s camps. According to preliminary calculations, the parents of 357 thousand children will take advantage of the compensation. He also said that additional funding in the amount of 4.7 billion rubles had been agreed for the cashback program by the end of the year. In addition, the government will allocate about 2 billion rubles for recreation of 230 thousand initiative schoolchildren and students.
Recall that at the end of March, Rospotrebnadzor removed some of the restrictions on children’s recreation: children can go on vacation outside their region, and the load of camps will increase from 50% to 75%.
However, the medal also has a downside: the regions are introducing their own anti-tectonic safety rules, for example, in the Crimea, to settle in the camp, it is required to provide a negative PCR test done 72 hours before arrival, which practically excludes the possibility of delivering organized groups of children to the peninsula by rail which is usually standard practice to cut your travel budget. Experts say there is a high probability that similar rules will be introduced in other regions. Experts are now tackling this problem.
Only important. For the pros only.
