The safety of Russians at the airports of Egyptian resorts will be monitored by inspectors from the Russian Federation, reported “Interfax” source in aviation circles April 16. For this, it is still necessary to conclude agreements with the aviation security service of one of the Russian airports.
According to the source, specialists will check the aircraft cabin before the flight, monitor check-in and boarding, as well as the loading of luggage. He stressed that the air harbors of Hurghada and Sharm el-Sheikh “have undergone a deep modernization and are equipped with modern control and security systems, and airport personnel have received additional training.”
As previously reported, separate terminals will be allocated for flights from Russia, as has already been done at the Cairo airport, where inspectors of one of the Moscow airports are already working.
Previously Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that Russia is interested in the resumption of direct flights with Egyptian resorts and this may happen in the near future. In the meantime, against the background of the closure of Turkey, Aeroflot is increasing the volume of traffic to Cairo.
Only important. For the pros only.
