Seven Russian airlines completed the export program from Turkey, according to the Federal Air Transport Agency, these are: Azur Air, Azimut, Ikar, Pobeda, Russia, Red Wings and Royal Flight.

“On April 26, Russian and Turkish airlines performed 6 flights from Turkey to Russia, transported 1,300 passengers, of which Russian airlines performed 3 flights and carried 720 passengers,” the regulator said in a statement.

Earlier, the Federal Air Transport Agency calculated that only 112 export flights from Turkey by Russian carriers and 87 flights by Turkish carriers should be performed by June 1. During this time, 60 thousand passengers should return to their homeland.

At the same time, according to the airlines, during the flight restriction period – from April 15 to June 1 – about 169 thousand air tickets from Turkey to Russia were sold. As noted in the Federal Tourism Agency, of them through tour operators – 50 thousand. It is not clear how those of the remaining 110 thousand who purchased the carriage on their own will return to Russia.

The Federal Air Transport Agency also reported that the export program from Tanzania has been completed in full. A total of 12 flights were carried out, on which 4.1 thousand passengers returned to Russia. At the same time, 4,700 tickets for black dates were sold, leaving about 600 Russians in Zanzibar.

It is likely that all those passengers who are not included in the export flight program return home on their own in transit through other countries.

Russia from April 15 to June 1 limited passenger flights with Turkey due to the unfavorable epidemiological situation in the country, the number of flights was reduced to two per week on a reciprocal basis. Flights to Tanzania have also been suspended.
