Thailand has developed a plan to remove restrictions on travelers, the document was adopted at a meeting of the Covid-19 Management Center chaired by Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha on March 19. informs The Thaiger.
The duration of the quarantine will depend on the epidemiological situation in the country of departure and the certificates that tourists can provide. So, vaccinated travelers with a vaccination certificate in isolation will have to spend 7 days, and upon their expiration, pass the test for Covid-19. If there is a vaccination, but no certificate, then the test will have to be done twice. Those who did not get vaccinated were prescribed a ten-day quarantine. At the same time, all guests who come from countries where new strains of coronavirus have been recorded will have to spend 14 days in isolation in special hotels and pass three tests.
Since April 1, quarantine conditions will also be facilitated: tourists will be allowed to leave their rooms and use the gym and swimming pool, and the requirement to provide a fit-to-fly certificate of “fitness for flight” will also be canceled. From July 1st, guests will be allowed to dine at the hotel’s restaurants and go for a massage.
By October, it is planned to remove most travel restrictions, while quarantine will only be required for residents of certain countries with an increased risk of coronavirus, the list of which will be approved later.
Only important. For the pros only.
