Ural Airlines canceled flight U6 705 Moscow – Tivat (Montenegro) on April 26. This information follows from the data on the Domodedovo airport board.
According to passengers in social networks, during check-in, it turned out that they would not be allowed on board without PCR tests, although at the end of last week there was information that the country had canceled this requirement for Russians. As a result, most of the tourists were not allowed on board.
The press service of the airline Profi.Travel explained: the flight was canceled due to the fact that the carrier did not receive permission to fly to this country. As for the requirement for passengers to have PCR tests, the carrier has not yet received an official notification of the abolition of this rule from the Montenegrin authorities.
“The airline has not received any new official documents on the abolition of tests for entry into Montenegro. The current rules of entry are posted on the airline’s website, which passengers get acquainted with when buying a ticket, ”the press service explained.
Since the flight was canceled on the initiative of the airline, all passengers will be refunded.
As a reminder, today the first flight from the weekly chain was supposed to take place, the implementation of the remaining flights is still in question. The airline has not yet commented on this topic.
In mid-April, Aeroflot also announced the operation of flights on the same route, but subsequently abandoned these plans.
A source in the field of aviation, commenting on the situation, noted that all cargo and passenger flights are coordinated separately. At the same time, airlines must first obtain the approval of the operational headquarters, then the Federal Air Transport Agency. Usually, it is difficult to coordinate flights to countries with which there is no air communication. “Today’s example is another confirmation of this,” the expert summed up.
Only important. For the pros only.
